They are as good as the ones made with cake crust!
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 sachet Dr. Oetker dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon grated salt
- 1/2 kg powdered sugar flour
- baking sunflower oil.
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Fasting donuts:
In a large dough bowl, mix the yeast with the flour as instructed on the yeast sachet. In a pot, mix the hot water, oil, sugar, salt and spices. This mixture is gradually poured over the flour and kneaded, making sure that the dough obtained is soft. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place about once more. Once it has risen, place the dough on the floured table and spread a 1 cm thick sheet and cut the round donuts with a glass. . Allow the donuts to rise for another 15 minutes.
Bake in oil. Powder with powdered sugar.
